360° Excavator over 10 tonne Plant Training Course includes
- Basic construction, names of components and the purpose and use of all controls and gauges
- Use of the operator’s handbook, etc
- Pre-use, start, running checks and close-down procedure
- Preparing the excavator for site and road travel
- Travelling the excavator over differing types of terrain, including rough, undulating ground and up and down substantial inclines
- Maneuvering, progressing to confined spaces in a forward and reverse direction
- Positioning and setting the machine to excavate
- Precautions and actions for underground and overhead services and other hazards
- Soil and material characteristics
- Excavating below ground lever
- Loading vehicles and hoppers
- Backfilling, grading, spreading and leveling different types of terrain
- How to remove and re-attach two different buckets
